FAQs
What kind of book can I bring?
You may bring one physical, bound book of your choice — textbooks, novels, reference books, hardcover books are all welcome. The book must be a single physical book. Multiple books stacked together, binders, notebooks, magazines, loose papers, or e-books do not qualify.
How much discount can I get?
You’ll receive $1 OFF for every full 1 kg your book weighs.
There is no maximum discount — the heavier your book, the more you can save.
Only full kilograms count. Weight is always rounded down to the nearest whole kilogram.
Is there a minimum purchase?
Yes. A minimum purchase of $20 before tax is required to redeem the offer.
When should I weigh my book?
Please have your book weighed by our staff before paying. Books weighed after checkout may not qualify for the promotion.
Can I bring more than one book?
No. Each guest may use one book per redemption.
Choose wisely — this is the time to bring your heaviest one.
Can two people dine together use the same book for discount?
No. Each book and discount applies to one individual guest’s order and cannot be repetely used for another guest’s order
Can I stack multiple books together?
No. Only one single physical book can be placed on the scale.
Can I use a binder or notebook?
No. The promotion is intended for physical published books. Binders, notebooks, magazines, loose-leaf notes, folders, tablets, and e-readers do not qualify.
Who weighs the book?
A Souper Hot Pot team member will weigh the book using the store’s designated scale. The weight shown on the store scale will be used to calculate the discount.
Can I weigh my book at home and show you a photo?
Sorry, the book must be weighed in-store by our team to qualify.
Can I use the promotion more than once?
The offer is limited to one redemption per guest per day during the promotional period.
Is the promotion available for takeout or delivery?
No. The Weigh Your Book promotion is available for dine-in only.
Can I combine this offer with another promotion coupon i have?
No. This offer cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, coupons, or special offers.
